Phyllis Lee Brockhaus, September 13, 1945 - June 21, 2019.

Phyllis Lee Brockhaus, age 73 of Holden, Missouri passed away Friday June 21, 2019 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

She was born September 13, 1945 in Kansas City, Missouri. She grew up in Kingsville, Missouri where she met the love of her life. She and Curt married November 19, 1966. They moved to their farm in Holden almost 50 years ago and raised four children. She was known for her hats and mad sewing skills! She was active in the kids' activities when they were young helping with PTA, 4-H and coaching softball.

Over the years she loved square dancing. In retirement she enjoyed playing cards and board games and watching her tv shows. She and Curt did a lot of traveling to see places they'd never been and to visit family and friends. She enjoyed keeping up with all the grandchildren.

Surviving her passing is her husband, Curt Brockhaus, of Holden and four children Carrie (Jeff) Behm of Lee's Summit, Curt (Ruth) Brockhaus of Holden, John (Terri) Brockhaus of Kansas City, Kansas, and Sally (Neil) Carter also of Holden. Fourteen grandchildren and their families including twelve great grandchildren and two great grandchildren on the way, all of which will miss her. Also surviving is her sister, Joyce Tindall, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marshall Fields, Dorothy and Byron Totton.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and friends.

The funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 AM on July 3, 2019, at Campbell Cast Funeral Home, 407 South Pine, Holden, Missouri, with Father Pete Savidge officiating.

Visitation will be 9:30 - 11:00 AM before the funeral. Interment will be at Kingsville Cemetery in Kingsville, Missouri.
