Vincent H. Scully, Jr.
 October 1, 1937 - November 12, 2022

Vincent Higgins Scully, Jr. went to his heavenly home on Saturday, November 12th, 2022 at the age of 85. Vince was the cherished husband of Sharon Scully; beloved father of Beth (Kurt) Frisz and Joseph (Lisa) Scully; dear grandfather of Luke Frisz; loving brother of Ann Marie (Ken) Borgmeyer; cherished uncle and friend to many.

Vince is preceded in death by his parents Vincent and Cecilia (Podosky) Scully and his brother Patrick (Diane) Scully.

Vince worked as a Printer at the St. Louis Post Dispatch for 39 years and a member of the National Typographical Union #8, serving as a Delegate, Chapel Chairman and Chapel Teller.

Vince was active member of the Knights of Columbus Duchesne Council 2951 for 42 years and presently with the O'Fallon Council 2269 for the past 9 years. He held various positions in both Councils including Grand Knight twice. He received his Knight of Columbus 4th Degree in 1973 and joined Bishop Wurm Assembly 2012, holding several positions including Faithful Navigator, he transferred to St. Patrick's Assembly 2620 in 2018.

Vince was very active in the Boy Scouts of America, St. Louis from 1976 until 2010 serving on the Catholic Committee of Scouting Board, Ordeal Team, Merit Badge Counselor, Order of the Arrow Team, Handicap Awareness, Quarter Master Core, plus others. He received the Silver Beaver Award 2004.

Vince was active serving as a Eucharistic Minster, Money Counter Chairman and Ushered.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent De Paul Assumption Conference or Boy Scouts of America - St. Louis.
