Ambassadors of Grace Group History
Ambassadors of Grace is the Southern Gospel duet of Dennis and Cheryl Perkins. They are based in Missouri, but they now spend about 9 months of the year traveling and singing old and new Southern Gospel songs, old hymns, some of their own original Gospel songs and a little patriotic music. They have a national ministry and have sung in 19 different states, from Texas to Alaska and North Carolina to Arizona.
Dennis and Cheryl started the group as a part time quartet in September of 2003. They quickly became a favorite in the region around their Mid-Missouri headquarters.
In the fall of 2007 Dennis and Cheryl believed God was calling them to sing full time. When they shared this with the other group members it was determined that none of them would be able to pursue music as a full time ministry- So, on May 1, 2009, after a two year transition period of phasing out the quartet. Ambassadors of Grace performed their first concert as a full time duet.
Since that day Dennis and Cheryl have been blessed to share the stage with some of the biggest names in Gospel music. These include the Mark Trammell Quartet, the Blackwood Brothers Quartet, the Lesters, the Chuck Wagon Gang, the Whisnants, the Down East Boys, the Lefevre Quartet and the Ball Brothers Quartet.
After over 18 years on the road they are still committed to bringing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to audiences through uplifting Gospel music and clean humor wherever they appear. They also include a song dedication to and recognition of the veterans attending their concerts. |
